How We Got to 2002

Think about how it looks when you do that.

It’s turning into an obsession.

You’re not as good at it as you think you are.

Grow up.  Live in the real world.

You can’t always do things your way.

We love your idiosyncrasies, but can you, you know, tone them down a bit?

Your problem is, you keep trying to write like the man who writes those books.

It’s so stupid.

No, I’m not saying you’re stupid, I’m saying that the books…  Ugh!

Think about how I feel when I see you behaving like that.

Consider your audience.

Some things are inappropriate.

It’s a basic skill.  You’ll stay here until you can do it.

People have expectations.

There’s always something with you.

You’re smiling wrong.  You’re sitting wrong.  You’re breathing wrong.

No-one cares what you have to say.

These are the things you should like.

Do you ever stop to think what’s wrong with you, that you can’t be like the others?

I don’t find that particularly funny.

People’s patience only goes so far.

People just don’t do that.  That just doesn’t happen.

Because… because you don’t!

You will enjoy this book by a guy who hates you and everyone like you.  It’s hilarious.

That’s not how you pronounce that.  You’re embarrassing yourself.

Inadequate.

You only like that because you’re too attached to your childhood.

Those words you use are ridiculous.

Why do you let these things get to you?
